In 2020, Climate Hustle 2: Rise of the Climate Monarchy, the sequel to CFACT’s groundbreaking film, Climate Hustle, premiered for a digital release in 97 countries across the globe.
The film was originally slated to release in over 700 theaters across the United States, but COVID lockdowns forced the movie to be delayed, and then released digitally rather than in theaters.
However, with lockdowns mostly lifted and life returning to some normalcy, theaters are now re-opening and interested groups are organizing Climate Hustle 2 showings across America. This time, the film premiered at the Emagine movie theatre on November 17, 2021 in the Detroit suburb of Royal Oak before a packed theatre of more than 100 people. Audience interest was so high the event had to be relocated to a larger theatre. The crowd munched on popcorn and soft drinks as the climate agenda was exposed by Climate Hustle 2. The event was sponsored by Mackinac Center for Public Policy, a free market think tank and partner of CFACT.
CFACT’s Marc Morano, writer, producer, and co-star of the film, appeared in person to take audience Q & A and to do a presentation on what has happened in the climate debate since the film’s release.
Climate Hustle 2 looks at both popular scientific claims surrounding climate change and examines motivations of those clamoring for immediate action. Featuring leading scientists, politicians and policy experts, and hosted by actor Kevin Sorbo, the film showcases many instances of Hollywood hypocrisy, financial corruption, media bias, classroom indoctrination, political correctness and other troubling matters surrounding the global warming issue.
